In short: TaraSama never charges hosts a fee. The 3 USDT deposit stays locked in your own TaraSama wallet and is 100% refundable — it unlocks with your first completed booking (plus a 5 USDT bonus), or automatically after 45 days without a booking. In a special situation, admin support can release it earlier.
1. What the deposit is
The Refundable Commitment Deposit ("Deposit") is a small amount of 3 USDT that approved hosts place with TaraSama before their profile becomes visible to clients. Its only purposes are to keep fake or inactive profiles off the platform and to compensate clients if a host does not show up for an accepted booking. It is not a fee, membership or registration charge, and TaraSama does not earn income from it.
2. When it is collected
- Only after your ID verification is approved — never at sign-up.
- Only through our official payment gateway, with an automatic receipt sent to your email.
- TaraSama will never ask you to send a deposit to a personal wallet, personal GCash number or bank account.
3. How you get it back
- First completed booking: the full 3 USDT is unlocked into your available wallet balance, together with a one-time 5 USDT First Booking Bonus paid from TaraSama's own commission.
- No booking: if you receive no completed booking within 45 days, the deposit is unlocked into your available wallet balance automatically. The 45-day window starts on your deposit date or on the date client bookings officially open on TaraSama ("Bookings Open" date), whichever is later — so you are never disadvantaged if hosts are onboarded before clients can book. You can instead choose "Keep my profile active" to keep the deposit in place and stay visible.
- Before your first booking: the deposit stays locked in your wallet and cannot be withdrawn yet. In a special situation, contact admin support and we can release it for you.
- After it is unlocked: withdraw it together with your earnings from the Wallet page, to any of 100+ coins (minimum and network fee shown on the Wallet page).
4. When it can be used
The deposit is used only when you accept a booking and do not show up (a confirmed "no-show"). In that case the deposit is given to the affected client as compensation — TaraSama does not keep it. A no-show also adds 1 strike point to your account. To continue hosting after a forfeited deposit, a new deposit is required.
5. How we hold it
- Deposits are kept in a separate wallet and recorded as money owed to hosts (a liability), not as company income.
- Deposits are never used for marketing or operating costs.
- Your Deposit Tracker shows the status at all times: Paid → Held safely → Refunded, with dates and transaction IDs.
6. Network fees
Refunds are sent to the wallet saved in your account. TaraSama covers the network fee on refunds. Please make sure your wallet address and network are correct — transfers sent to a wrong address you provided cannot be reversed.
