Your safety comes first
Every rule on TaraSama exists to protect both clients and hosts. Here's exactly how we keep bookings safe.
Two-way ID verification
Hosts and clients both verify a government ID before any booking. Duplicate or suspicious IDs are flagged automatically and reviewed by a person. 18+ only.
Public venues only
Bookings happen in restaurants, event halls, malls, parks, museums and offices. Hotel rooms, condos and private homes are strictly bawal.
Strictly platonic
TaraSama is a social and event companionship service — never dating, never physical or romantic services. Any such request means a permanent ban.
Protected in-app chat
Phone numbers, emails and social handles are hidden automatically so conversations and payments stay on the platform. Inappropriate messages are flagged for review.
Check-in & check-out
Hosts check in at the venue at the start of every booking and check out at the end, so our team always knows a booking is on track.
One-tap SOS
Feel unsafe? Press SOS — your location goes to the TaraSama safety team immediately. Then move to a safe, public place.
Payments held in escrow
Clients pay TaraSama, not the host. Money is released only after the booking is completed, so no one handles cash.
Two-way reviews
Clients review hosts and hosts review clients. Repeated low ratings lead to suspension.
Strike system
No-shows and late cancellations earn strikes. 3 strike points = permanent ban. Serious violations are banned immediately.
Tips for clients
- ✦Keep all messages and payments inside TaraSama.
- ✦Choose a well-known public venue and share your plans with a friend.
- ✦Be respectful — your host is a professional companion, not a date.
- ✦Report anything that feels off. We review every report.
Tips for hosts
- ✦Never move a booking to a private place, even if the client offers more money.
- ✦Add an emergency contact in your account settings.
- ✦Arrive on time and check in from the venue.
- ✦If something feels wrong, leave and press SOS. Your safety matters more than the booking.
In an emergency, call 911 first.
Then use the SOS button or contact our safety team.
