Why we built TaraSama

"Tara, sama ka!" — come along! In the Philippines, life happens at gatherings: weddings, reunions, Christmas parties, company events. But showing up alone can feel awkward, and visitors to Manila often don't know where to start.

TaraSama connects people with friendly, ID-verified companions for exactly these moments — a plus-one at a wedding, a polished guest at a corporate dinner, a local who can show you Intramuros or the best of Binondo, or a patient partner for language practice.

We're strict about what TaraSama is not: it's not dating and not an escort service. Every booking is platonic, in a public venue, with payments protected by the platform.
