Code of Conduct

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Draft — to be reviewed by a Philippine lawyer before launch.

TaraSama is built on respect. These rules apply to every host and every client, at every booking. Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.

1. Public venues only

Bookings take place only in public places: restaurants, cafés, event halls, malls, parks, museums, tourist sites and offices. Hotel rooms, condo units, private homes, private rooms and vehicles as a meeting place are bawal — even if the client offers more money.

2. Strictly platonic

TaraSama is not dating and not an escort service. No sexual, romantic, physical or intimate services may be requested, offered or provided. Hosts may politely end a booking immediately if this rule is broken — and should report it.

3. Everything stays on TaraSama

  • No payments, tips or "side deals" outside the platform (including GCash, cash or bank transfers).
  • Don't share phone numbers, social media or addresses to move the booking off-platform.

4. Respect and safety

  • No harassment, discrimination, threats or unwanted contact — online or in person.
  • Drink responsibly. Hosts may leave if a client is intoxicated to an unsafe level.
  • Respect personal boundaries and the host's agreed time.
  • Both parties must be 18+ and the same person as on the verified ID.

5. Reliability

  • Respond to booking requests on time and confirm 24 hours and 2 hours before.
  • Arrive on time and check in at the venue.
  • Cancel as early as possible if you must.

6. Strikes

  • Late cancellation by a host (less than 24 hours before): 0.5 strike point.
  • No-show: 1 strike point and the host's deposit compensates the client.
  • 3 strike points = permanent ban.
  • Serious violations (sexual requests, harassment, violence, off-platform payment schemes, fake identity) result in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.

7. Reporting & SOS

Use "Report a problem" from your dashboard or booking page for anything that breaks these rules. During a booking, press SOS to send your location to our safety team immediately. In an emergency, call 911 first.
